Strategic Management and Policy II: Implementation

This course focuses on the application of concepts and methods introduced in COMM 4006 and on the development of practical solutions to complex organizational problems involved in the process of strategy implementation. Particular emphasis is placed upon the development of an internal capability profile, built on the organization's core competencies, which enables organizations to cope with the changing environment and the implementation of formulated strategies. Students must carry out a comprehensive analysis of an ongoing organization and submit a detailed report according to strategic management principles. PREREQ: COMM 4006 (minimum 60%). (cst 3) cr 3.
