C.S. Lewis and the religious Imagination

In this course students explore the writings of C. S. Lewis (1898-1963), Anglican Oxford scholar and influential author of fiction (such as The Chronicles of Narnia) and non-fiction works in religion (such as Mere Christianity). We examine his classic writings, which engage key themes in religion, literature, and modern culture. (T) (lec 3) cr 3. Prerequisites: 18 university credits
