Propaganda, Politics and Film

This course explores the historical field of propaganda, politics and film in twentieth-century Europe. Using various national case studies, the course seeks to determine the nature of propaganda films, how they were made, and the extent to which these films as historical documents contribute to our understanding of the political, social, economic, and cultural dynamics of the twentieth- century European experience.
