Management of Human Resources

This course focuses on theories and techniques of personnel management. Topics include employment legislation, human resource planning, job analysis, recruitment and selection, compensation, performance appraisal, training and development, employee benefits, employee relations, workplace health and safety, union management framework, and global human resource management. Prerequisite: MGMT 1001 or equivalent (sem 3) credits: 3. Students may not retain credit for COMM 2047, COMM 4456 and HROB 2002.
