Biographie

1. Éducation et postes universitaires

Monsieur Taktek (Ph.D.) occupe un poste de professeur titulaire à l’École d’éducation (ÉÉ) de l’Université Laurentienne (UL, 2000-2002 & 2006-en cours). Il est accrédité par l’École des études supérieures de l’UL pour superviser des étudiants gradués et d’enseigner au niveau de doctorat (Ph.D.) en Sciences humaines. Présentement, Monsieur Taktek dirige plusieurs projets scientifiques reliés à ses principaux intérêts de recherche, notamment la psychopédagogie de l’apprentissage, la psychologie cognitive, la formation des cadres enseignants, la psychologie du sport et de l’exercice physique, l’apprentissage moteur et la performance motrice ainsi que l’éducation à la paix.

Monsieur Taktek est l’auteur de deux livres arbitrés “Psychopedagogy of learning theories: Issues, trends, and applications in the field of education.” [« Psychopédagogie des théories d'apprentissage : enjeux, tendances et applications dans le domaine de l’éducation. »] (2008, Brandon House, New York) ainsi que Transactional Analysis as a Communication Framework and Dynamic Strategy for Peace Education: Practices, Trends, and Challenges for International Geopolitical Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation.” [« Analyse Transactionnelle comme un cadre de communication et une stratégie dynamique d’éducation à la paix : Pratiques, tendances et défis pour la résolution et la réconciliation des conflits géopolitiques internationaux. »] (2016, Nova Science Publishers, Hauppauge, New York).

Monsieur Taktek détient un doctorat en Sciences de l’éducation, réussi par mention « excellent » de l’Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM, 1994-2000), Québec, Canada, et une maîtrise en Sciences de l’activité physique, réussie également par mention « excellent », de l’Université de Montréal (1988-1990), Québec, Canada. Présentement, Monsieur Taktek est le Président du Congrès annuel de l’École d’éducation (CAÉÉ) de l’UL. Depuis sa nomination à l’ÉÉ de l’UL, Monsieur Taktek sert également comme évaluateur/président de demandes de bourses de recherches de doctorat et de maîtrise (par exemple, CRSH : Conseil des recherches en sciences humaines; FRQSC : Fonds de recherche du Québec - Société et culture, Canada).

Monsieur Taktek fut financé par plusieurs programmes de subventions de recherche. Récemment, à travers la fondation des échanges éducationnelles entre le Canada et les États-Unis, il fut sélectionné pour une bourse de recherche « 2023-2024 Fulbright Canada Research Chair in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina. »

Par ailleurs, le 27 juin 2023 Monsieur Taktek a obtenu une subvention des « Fonds pour les nouvelles initiatives de recherche - Subventions d’exploration du conseil de recherches en sciences humaines, CRSH. » De surcroît, le 16 mai 2019, il a reçu une Médaille d’excellence en recherche décernée par la Doyenne du conseil académique de l’Académie militaire américaine (USMA), West Point, New York, Madame Cindy R. Jebb (Ph.D.), Brigadier General.

De plus, Monsieur Taktek fut sélectionné pour une bourse de recherche “2014-2015 Canada-US Fulbright Scholar Award”, à USMA, West Point, New York, où il s’est vu octroyer en outre une Médaille d’excellence en recherche 2015 par le Doyen du conseil académique, Monsieur Timothy Trainor (Ph.D.), Brigadier General.

Depuis sa nomination à l’UL, Monsieur Taktek a enseigné une variété de cours au premier cycle ainsi qu’au cycle supérieur. L’éventail de ses cours comporte la psychopédagogie de l’adolescent d’âge scolaire; la psychopédagogie de l’apprentissage; l’introduction à la recherche appliquée en psychopédagogie; l’éducation physique et santé (EPS) aux trois principaux cycles (primaire et moyen, moyen et intermédiaire, et intermédiaire et supérieur); ainsi que la didactique de l’EPS aux cycles intermédiaire et supérieur. De plus, il contribue à la supervision des stagiaires durant leur formation initiale à l’enseignement.

Avant sa nomination à l’UL, Monsieur Taktek est intervenu à titre de professeur agrégé au sein du Département de psychologie militaire et leadership du Collège militaire royal du Canada (CMR, 2002-2006). Il y a enseigné les cours de méthodes de recherche en psychologie; introduction à la psychologie; psychologie sociale; dynamique des groupes; facteurs humains en sciences militaires appliquées; psychologie du sport et de l’exercice physique; ainsi que fondements en psychologie humaine.

Au cours des années 2000-2002, il a enseigné à l’École des sciences de l’éducation de l’Université Laurentienne en tant que professeur adjoint. Son enseignement couvrait la psychopédagogie de l’apprentissage; l’apprentissage moteur et la performance motrice; l’éducation physique et santé (EPS) aux cycles primaire et moyen; ainsi que la didactique de l’EPS aux cycles intermédiaire et supérieur.

Monsieur Taktek a servi en tant que professeur à l’Université du Québec en Outaouais (1998-2000) où il a enseigné les cours apprentissage scolaire : modèles et théories; méthodes et techniques en éducation des adultes; développement de l’enfant du préscolaire et du primaire (1-6 année); méthodes et techniques en enseignement / apprentissage; ainsi qu’apprentissage scolaire : domaines, stratégies et déterminants. De surcroit, il a agi à titre de superviseur de stages de pratique à l’enseignement au sein des Écoles publiques et catholiques de la province de l’Ontario.

Au cours de ses études graduées, ses intérêts de recherche lui ont permis de participer comme assistant de recherche à plusieurs projets entrepris aux Départements de Kinanthropologie de l’UQAM et de l’activité physique de l’Université de Montréal et de poursuivre deux stages de recherche au sein du Groupe Interdisciplinaire de Pédagogie Universitaire (GRIPU) de l’Université de Montréal. Auparavant, il est intervenu au sein des Commissions des Écoles de Montréal en tant qu’enseignant au niveau primaire et secondaire ainsi qu’à titre de formateur personnel et social au niveau adulte.

2. INTÉRÊT DE RECHERCHE

Présentement Monsieur Taktek dirige plusieurs projets de recherche scientifique, soit :

  • Éducation à la paix et études sur la guerre, subventionné par la Fondation pour les échanges éducatifs entre le Canada et les États-Unis d’Amérique (Canada-US Fulbright Scholar Awards”); l’Académie Militaire des États-Unis; le Programme de recherches académiques en sciences naturelles et en génie du Collège militaire royal (CMR) du Canada; ainsi que les Fonds de Recherche de l’Université Laurentienne (FRUL).

3. EXPERT CONSULTANT ET ARBITRE

  • Au cours de l’année académique 2016-2017, Monsieur Taktek est sélectionné comme coordinateur de recherche à la Faculté d’éducation de l’Université Laurentienne. En fait, il s’est adhéré au groupe de coordination de recherche du Vice-recteur afin de soutenir les activités scientifiques promues par le Bureau des services de recherche. De plus, il travaille en étroite collaboration avec la Doyenne de la Faculté d’éducation afin de développer la productivité et les possibilités de recherche au sein de ladite Faculté.  
  • Monsieur Taktek a servi en tant que président / évaluateur de demandes de bourses de recherches de doctorat, soumises au Conseil de recherches en sciences humaines (CRSH) du Canada ainsi que de demandes de bourses de recherches de maîtrise des Fonds de recherche du Québec - Société et Culture (FRQSC), comité « Éducation spécialisée. »
  • Monsieur Taktek est membre du Comité Éditorial du Journal of Mental Imagery et arbitre régulier pour plusieurs revues scientifiques, notamment : JMI; Revue Canadienne de Psychologie Expérimentale; Revue Européenne de Psychologie Appliquée; Journal of Child Development Research; Journal of Psychology and Education: Learning and Individual Differences; Revue des Sciences de l’Éducation; et Conseil de recherches en sciences humaines (CRSH) du Canada.
  • Monsieur Taktek est également un expert consultant et/ou membre représentatif pour le Ministère de l’Éducation de l’Ontario; l’Ontario Physical and Health Education Association (Ophea); le Conseil Scientifique de l’Institut d’Analyse Eidétique du Québec (IAÉQ); le Conseil Scientifique de l’Institut Canadien de l’Image Eidétique (ICIE); ainsi que la Division des études continues du Campus de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Département de la Défense Nationale.

  • Monsieur Taktek a publié plusieurs articles arbitrés dans des Revues scientifiques. De plus, il a présenté plusieurs articles de conférences, avec comité de révision, dans des congrès nationaux et internationaux ainsi que d'innombrables conférences non-arbitrées. Monsieur Taktek fut invité comme conférencier dans le cadre de symposium, colloque et / ou séminaire organisé par le Ministère de la Défense, Rochefort Air, République française ; la Fédération des enseignantes et enseignants de l’Ontario (FEO/OTF) ; l’IAÉQ ; et l’Association canadienne francophone d’avancement du savoir (ACFAS-Sudbury).
  • Monsieur Taktek a publié plusieurs livres et chapitres de livre, notes de cours et thèses traitant de la psychopédagogie de l’apprentissage ; de l’apprentissage scolaire ; de la didactique de la santé et de l’éducation physique aux cycles primaire, moyen, intermédiaire et supérieur ; de la psychologie du sport et de l’exercice ; ainsi que de l’apprentissage moteur et la performance motrice. Par ailleurs, Monsieur Taktek a contribué à la publication d’un ouvrage collectif de trois volumes en éducation à la paix organisé par le Ministère de la Défense, République française. Il y a en effet publié un article traitant de l’intervention américaine en Irak en collaboration avec Dr. Houchang Hassan-Yari, ancien Directeur du Département des sciences politiques et économiques du CMR.
  • Monsieur Taktek a récemment publié un livre traitant de l’« Analyse Transactionnelle comme un cadre de communication et une stratégie dynamique pour  l’éducation à la paix : pratiques, tendances et défis pour la résolution des conflits géopolitiques internationaux et la réconciliation », et ce, en collaboration avec plusieurs collègues de l’Université Laurentienne, le Collège Militaire Royal du Canada, l’Université d’Ottawa ainsi que le Ministère de la Défense de la République Française.
